Sure, you can book an all-inclusive beach vacation and call it a day. But is that truly travelling?

Of course not. It’s an easy way to take some time off, but it’s not immersing you and your family in the lands, culture, and special places that truly make a destination worth visiting.

EFA contributor Matt Maddaloni went with his family to Costa Rica in March 2025. Not one to take the conventional route, Matt and his crew set out for adventure in the mountains, jungles, and beaches of Costa Rica. They decided to do something a bit different, and documented the trip through their eyes. The result is the above half-hour special dedicated to exploring Costa Rica and what makes it special.

Have a watch, and remember to follow them on YouTube for even more adventures!
